There’s no doubt that Jordan Peele has made a name for himself as a filmmaker, director and actor in Hollywood. But in recent years, the release of Get Out and Us has had the world talking — and on edge — waiting for a follow up film. Well, the wait is over, because Nope is officially in theaters today.
Featuring Keke Palmer and Daniel Kaluuya, this UFO thriller follows California horse ranch caretakers as they face a puzzling force of energy that puts humans and animals at risk. It’s quite different compared to its predecessors, but we know it won’t disappoint. It’s Peele we’re taking about here!

'A Quiet Place'

After making their way into town to the supermarket, an otherworldly type of smog swamps the town, trapping everyone in the store. Within minutes, barbaric creatures are unleashed, ready to pounce. What started off as a regular grocery store trip has turned into a legit game of Alien vs. Predator.
'The Invasion'
The title speaks for itself. Psychologist Carol Bennel (Nicole Kidman) and her co-worker Dr. Ben Driscoll (Daniel Craig) are holding a deep secret that could pretty much wipe out the whole city of Washington D.C. They are the only ones aware of an alien epidemic, leaving them responsible to find a cure. Coincidentally, Carol’s son may be the answer to it all. It’s a race against time to find him and put an end to this plague.
'Signs'
Pay attention to the signs, they say. Mel Gibson stars as Graham Hess, a widowed father and farmer who stumbles upon questionable patterns engraved in his crops. Somehow, he isn’t phased until reports of similar unearthly activities are broadcasted. Now convinced it’s some sort of inexplicable creature, he and his family must cling to each other to weather the storm.
'Annihilation'
Annihilation examines biologist and former soldier Lena (Natalie Portman) on her journey to discovering the whereabouts of her husband inside Area X. And let’s just say, it’s a menacing place you don’t want to be. When she arrives, she’s startled to uncover a whole new world filled with dangerous creatures and inhuman aspects. Will she be able to find her husband, or will she join him as presumed dead?
'The Vast Of Night'
Based in New Mexico, two teenagers are having a harmless night until they detect an abnormal frequency that has taken over their town. Something is looming in the sky, and one thing for sure, it’s not pleasant. With the clock ticking, they must collaborate to save their town. This engrossing Amazon Original doesn’t disappoint.
