For Stranger Things fans who just couldn’t get enough of Dustin Henderson, good news: You can catch Gaten Matarazzo in a brand new movie, Honor Society, coming to Paramount+ this weekend.

Directed by Oran Zegman, with a screenplay by David A. Goodman, this coming-of-age comedy follows a high school senior named Honor (played by Angourie Rice), who, somewhat ironically, is a top honor student at her school. Honor’s greatest dream is admission to an Ivy League college, but her guidance counselor, Mr. Calvin (played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse) is famously stingy with his recommendations. So Honor decides to take down her competition—including her fellow nerd, Michael (Matarazzo). But when Honor starts to fall for Michael, things get a little complicated.

Beginning on Friday, July 29, Honor Society will be streaming on Paramount+, free to anyone with a Paramount+ subscription. You will find the movie on the Paramount+ website beginning on July 29.

Formerly known as CBS All Access, Paramount+ is the rebranded streaming service for ViacomCBS and features content from CBS All Access, CBS, Showtime, BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, Pluto TV, and more company brands. Subscribers in the U.S. can get a premium plan for $9.99/month, or an ad-supported plan for $5.99/month.

WHAT TIME WILL HONOR SOCIETY BE ON PARAMOUNT PLUS?

In the past, Paramount+ original movies were released on the streaming service at 12 a.m. Pacific Time, or 3 a.m. Eastern Time, on the morning of the film’s release date. Therefore, you can expect that Honor Society will begin streaming on Paramount+ on Friday, July 29 at 12 a.m. PT, or 3 a.m. ET.
