Since 1987, audiences have been watching humans get their butts kicked by a super-smart militant alien creature known as Predator. And over 35 years, we’re still getting out butts kicked by Predator, this time in the 2022 movie Prey, coming to Hulu this weekend.

The fifth installment in the Predator franchise, Prey serves as a prequel to the first four films. Prey takes place in the year 1719 in the Northern Great Plains of North America, where the Comanche Nation lived and prospered. Amber Midthunder stars as Naru, a woman who wants to prove herself as a warrior to her tribe, despite the expectations that she stick to gendered roles in her community. Of course, when the Predator attacks, the boys have no problem turning to Naru for protection.

Those who have been with the franchise over the past three decades will not want to miss the latest installment. Here’s what you need to know about how to watch Prey on Hulu, including the Prey release date and the Prey release time.

If you live in the United States, you can stream Prey on Hulu beginning on Friday, August 5. If you live outside of the U.S., you may be able to stream Prey on the Star content hub of Disney+ and Star+.

WHAT TIME WILL PREY 2022 BE ON HULU?

In the past, Hulu original films have debuted on the streaming service around midnight on the east coast, or 12 a.m. Eastern Time on the morning of Friday, August 5. That means if you’re on the west coast, you can watch Prey on Hulu as early as 9 p.m. Pacific Time on Thursday night. However, times could vary slightly depending on what device you’re using to stream, so if the clock strikes midnight in New York City and you don’t yet see Prey on Hulu, give it 10 minutes or so and try again.
