‘Sister Wives’ Season 17 Release Date and Trailer

Sister Wives is coming back and judging by the trailer, Season 17 is nothing short of drama-packed.

The TLC show first premiered on the network in 2010, following the polygamous lives of Kody Brown and his four wives Meri, Janelle, Christine, Robyn, and their combined 18 children — as they navigate a disapproving society.

During the Season 15 finale, Christine (Kody’s third wife) announced that she was ending their relationship, citing the “intimate part” of their marriage being over as the reason why. And it looks like this news is going to carry over into the next season.

Here’s everything we know about Sister Wives Season 17:

Is there a trailer for Sister Wives Season 17?

There sure is! In the dramatic Sister Wives Season 17 trailer, Christine is seen telling the family she’s leaving Kody after 25 years of marriage, flashing to emotional clips of everyone learning to grapple with her decision.

Christine tells cameras she feels Kody cares more about Robyn (his fourth wife), while Kody thinks that by her leaving, “The message that we had to the world about functional polygamy seems so dysfunctional now.” Later on in the trailer, he screams at her saying, “It’s just a knife in the kidney, after all the years, the sacrifices I made to love you.”
