More Like OpPEEnheim: ‘Selling The OC’ Boss Happily Admits He “Always” Pees in the Pool

Selling The OC, the sure-to-be hit spinoff of Selling Sunset, has already assumed its rightful place in Netflix’s Top 10 trending TV shows currently streaming on the platform. Fans can’t wait to get to know the new team of hungry real estate agents who fight over listings (and pretty much everything else!) against the stunning backdrop of gorgeous houses on the California coast. But one gross-out moment featuring Jason Oppenheim admitting he happily pees in the pool could take away from all that.

If you haven’t checked out Selling the OC, but are a fan of Selling Sunset, just know that identical twins Jason and Brett Oppenheim are the only crossover agents from Selling Sunset that you’ll see on former show — which makes sense, since the twin agents were from The Oppenheim Group‘s Newport Beach office. Brett has since branched out on his own to form Oppenheim Real Estate, so Jason is the more hands-on broker available to the team.

Aside from his real estate savvy, huge bank account, and perfect smile, Jason is known to fans as the short-lived paramour of Chrishell Stause, the soap actress-turned-real estate agent, who dumped him because he didn’t want to start a family with her. After his breakup, he naturally has time to accompany his agents, Alexandra Rose and Alexandra Jarvis, to a meeting to try a get a listing for a beautiful home on Fontana Way in Laguna Beach. Homeowner Vince is more than happy to show the ladies and Jason around his nearly 7,000 square foot stunning remodeled home. Eventually, Vince leads the group to his pool in an area 40 feet in the air, over living space. When he casually mentions he has even built on an outdoor restroom so swimmers aren’t inconvenienced, Jason has a super gross TMI moment.

In a true record scratch form, Jason pipes up, “I just go in the pool, so I wouldn’t even need that.” Um, EXCUSE ME, SIR? Peeing in the ocean is absolutely understandable, but peeing in the pool where the water is contained and you’re an arms-length away from other people is 100% unacceptable. As the group laughs uncomfortably, Vince jokes, “I wasn’t gonna go there!” AND JASON DOUBLES DOWN. “I do though. I legitimately admit it.” Jason continues unabashedly, “No guy gets out of the pool to pee. It’s a fact.” Jarvis lets out a soft “ew,” and what else can she do?! Her 45-year-old boss has proudly declared that he pees in swimming pools on the regular!!

“I’m the only guy that admits it, but every guy does it,” Jason says confidentially as the group avoids making eye contact with him. Clearly unnerved, Vince directs the trio to the primary suite, but that doesn’t stop Jason from making one last pee joke quipping, “I gotta go in the pool real quick.” WHAT IS JASON THINKING?! He’s trying to close a deal and can’t stop making pee jokes! If the man is capable of serial pool-peeing, what other red flags must Chrishell seen before she ended their relationship? Shudder to think!

Though Vince decides he is not ready to put the house on the market, he does assure the agents that he “could see myself working with you guys” in the future. While Jason might have questionable bathroom etiquette, there’s no doubt he’s a dynamite broker who has great business sense and an eye for talent. Would he have closed the deal right then and there if he indulged in his peeing-in-the-pool comedy routine? One can only wonder. For now, though, we’ll just have to start calling his company The OpPEEnheim Poop. I mean, Group.
