Jen Shah’s Legal Battle and Heather Gay With a Black Eye Loom Over ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ Trailer

The drama is explosive and the ladies sure are salty in a new trailer for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 3, where we get a glimpse of Jen Shaw’s ongoing legal battle and… Heather Gay’s black eye? Essentially, the two things we couldn’t look away from.

The legal drama started last year for Shah, who was arrested during Season 2. According to People, she was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. Despite pleading not guilty at first, she recently plead guilty to the first count, per Women’s Health.

However, this season of RHOSLC has Shah leaning on friends and family for support, and, according to a press release provided to Decider, “when the group’s dynamics shift, Jen’s new alliances cause a divide among the women.”

In the teaser, we hear Shah exclaim, “I am innocent!” before going on to say she was “played” by assistant Stuart Smith, who was also charged.

“I would not be in this thing at all if it wasn’t for Stuart,” she told the ladies.

Meanwhile, newbie Danna Bui-Negrete, brought in by Gay, stirs up trouble with Shah, repeating a rumor that she heard regarding the legal case. All we know from the trailer is that she claims, “Someone that I know was working for Jen. And now he’s an informant.”

Later on, she gets in Shah’s face, telling off the reality star, saying, “Don’t get in my mother fucking face. If I were you, I’d be real nice right now especially if you want some money in your fucking books.” I kid you not, I gasped at the same moment an off-camera cast member did.

If that isn’t enough, Gay opens (and closes) the trailer sporting a black eye. How she got it was not revealed, although when one of the ladies said she looked “like somebody clocked” her, she cryptically said, “Well, maybe somebody did.”

There’s a lot to unload in this first trailer. And soon, we’ll get to see it all hash out when The Real Housewives of Salty Lake City returns Sept. 28 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
