We’re less than a week away from the Season 17 premiere of Sister Wives and one of the stars is teasing what’s to come for the polygamous family.

In a cryptic Instagram message posted to her account on Sept. 3, Meri Brown, who is estranged from husband Kody Brown, wrote, “There’s so much more to the story… #Ready.” The caption was posted along with a photo of the reality star holding an open book, covering half her face.

According to InTouch, the next day, Meri posted a photo of herself in a hot tub on her Instagram story, writing, “Living my best life while learning, growing and leveling up!”

Fans flooded the comments section of her original post, guessing what the mysterious message could mean, with many hoping she finally left Kody — who is still married to Janelle and Robyn Brown.

“Oohhhh I hope you left Kody!!!! You deserve someone who loves you!!” one wrote, while another said, “God, I hope she finally left him. She deserves so much better.”

Someone else noticed she wasn’t wearing a wedding ring in the photo, pointing out, “No ring ???? Hummm.”

Meri, who was Kody’s first of four wives, has been separated from the TLC personality for years. Despite the two living separately and not engaging in intimacy, during the show’s reunion special in January 2022, she said, “It’s been 31 years now that we’ve been married. I’m still committed. I made my choice,” per ET.

The explosive trailer, which debuted last month, gave fans of the show a glimpse of what was to come, with the primary storyline seemingly revolving around Christine Brown’s (wife No. 3) decision to leave Kody.

“I felt like Christine was more than a sister wife,” Meri said through tears in the trailer. “I felt like she was a friend for a lot of years.”

Sister Wives Season 17 premieres Sunday, Sept. 11 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
