What Time Will ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ Episode 3 Premiere on Prime Video?

It’s only been a week since The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power premiered on Prime Video and we’re already antsy to return to Middle-earth. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Episode 3 “Adar” will finally reveal who is on the ship that picked up Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) and Halbrand (Charlie Vickers) and what happened to poor, brave Arondir (Ismael Cruz Córdova) after being snapped up by orcs in the tunnels beneath Hordern. But even better than all that, The Rings of Power Episode 3 is when Tolkien fans will finally get to travel to one of the most mythic locations in Middle-earth: the island kingdom of Númenor.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is set in the Second Age, an era in which it appears that evil has been defeated. However, intrepid elf Galadriel isn’t so certain of that. She believes that First Age villain Morgoth’s most loyal servant Sauron escaped justice and is waiting to bring Middle-earth down again. Her mission to find Sauron — the man who killed her beloved brother — puts her in the path of a Southlands refugee named Halbrand. While they reluctantly bond at sea, elsewhere elf scout Arondir and the object of his affection, human woman Bronwyn (Nazanin Boniadi), have discovered that orcs are afoot in the Southlands. Elsewhere, a couple of cute harfoots, aka Second Age hobbits, named Nori Brandyfoot (Markella Cavenagh) and Poppy Proudfellow (Megan Richards) are trying to hide the fact that they’ve sort of adopted a mysterious magical Stranger (Daniel Weyman) who fell from the sky.
