What Time Will 'After Everything' Be on Netflix?
Your favorite (?) toxic couple is back! As we gear up to watch After Ever Happy, the fourth installment based on Anna Todd’s books of the same name, it’s important that we look back to refresh our memories on all that Tessa (Josephine Langford) and Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) have been through.
Here’s the premise: A goody-two-shoes just trying to attend college and make a career for herself meets a rich bad boy embittered by his childhood traumas, resulting in a back-and-forth, yet steamy, relationship that spans the course of four movies. Pretty cliché, but we’re not watching the After series to reinvent the wheel… We’re watching it for the romance (and sex).
If you’re anything like me and accidentally watched the After movies out of order (true story), this rundown is for you:
How to watch the After movies in order:
The first installment of this intoxicating franchise is 2019’s After, which sets up the relationship between Tessa and Hardin, and, ultimately, their first break up.
This continues into the second film, After We Collided, as the two work toward mending their untrusting relationship. Finally (for now), you can watch part three, After We Fell, which was released in 2021 and follows the couple as they play tug-of-war with their different life goals, attempt a long-distance relationship, and deal with the family drama of it all.
Once you’re all caught up with the first three, you’re ready for After Ever Happy, which is currently in theaters.
Will there be a fifth After movie after After Ever Happy?
For those who breezed through the entire Tessa and Hardin saga, including After Ever Happy, take comfort in knowing it’s not the end. The franchise’s Twitter handle revealed they wrapped the fifth installment just last month and confirmed that it will be called, After Everything.
The first three After movies are currently streaming on Netflix.
