Lisa Rinna and Erika Jayne: Stop Using Kathy Hilton to Distract Fans From Your Behavior on ‘RHOBH’

Another week, another reason to dislike Lisa Rinna and Erika Jayne from The Real Housewives of Beverly HillsFor months, we heard all this talk about some explosive fight in Aspen, just for it to arrive, completely slander our fan-favorite Kathy Hilton, and for the only account of her supposed erratic behavior to come from a pair of notoriously fake lips.

The vagueness of what actually happened with Kathy continued in Wednesday night’s (Sept. 21) episode. Though all the ladies saw some sort of commotion at the club in Aspen, apparently only Lisa witnessed the full wrath, making it all a bit suspect.

Younger sister Kyle Richards said Kathy wanted her to leave the club with her, but she didn’t want to go. Lisa, who left with the socialite, claimed she was throwing things back at the house, said she would take down Bravo, and made horrible statements about Kyle (and possibly the rest of the ladies). Meanwhile, Sutton Stracke just thought she was upset because no one wanted to join in on a conga line?

Whatever happened, Kathy’s presence at Crystal Kung Minkoff’s 1920s-themed birthday party made Lisa so uncomfortable, she had to leave, even admitting to cameras that the reality star’s alleged tirade made her feel “PTSD.”

It’s a whole lot of “I’ve never seen anything like this” and “I’m still in shock from what I experienced” and not enough explanation of what actually happened — or proof since it occurred off-camera.

Perhaps what’s even more shocking (or maybe not, because at this point the poor behavior is in her character) is that it’s being dragged on by Lisa, who has been repeatedly blasted by fans for her aggressive outbursts this season, specifically toward Sutton. She’s also been known to break a glass or two in her day (re: Lisa vs. Kim Richards Amsterdam Smackdown, 2015).

Even less surprising is Erika Jayne joining in on the torment, a surefire way to distract from all that “you have no compassion toward burn victims” drama that threw her under the bus just a couple of episodes ago.

“I’m not here to protect anybody. They certainly have not protected me,” she told the camera. “Like I’ve always said, this game always turns on everybody. It’s your turn now.”

So while Lisa and Erika become hellbent on this takedown, until we hear what happened from Kathy Hilton herself, they need to stop detracting from their insufferable behavior and leave Kathy be. The show cannot afford to lose another Lisa Vanderpump.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
