‘Below Deck’ Yachties Want to See a Franchise Crossover: “Let’s All Start Manifesting”

Tonight marks the premiere of Below Deck Adventure, the newest addition to Bravo‘s Emmy Award-nominated franchise, and we could not be more excited. Below Deck Adventure will take Below Deck fans to the stunning fjords of Norway aboard the beautiful motor yacht Mercury. With an all-new location and all-new crew, the series will showcase action-packed excursions with high-rolling, thrill-seeking charter guests looking to push their limits as they cave-dive, para-glide and enjoy dizzying helicopter rides against the backdrop of an exceptionally picturesque landscape. Don’t worry—all the mouthwatering food, gorgeous yachties, and juicy drama that Below Deck fans expect will be fully on-display as well.

At this year’s BravoCon, fans were teased with a tantalizing clip of the new show among all the festivities celebrating the landmark franchise. Two panels were dedicated to all things Below Deck! The first, “Below Deck Crew Oughta” (now streaming on Peacock), featured a smattering of yachties from across the franchise. The second panel, “Oh Captain, Our Captains,” was made up of all five Below Deck captains and series producer Nadine Rajabi. With some of the most beloved Below Deck stars in attendance, we just had to ask for their thoughts on Below Deck Adventure.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht‘s Daisy Kelliher was all abuzz when we asked her if she was excited for the franchise’s latest iteration on the BravoCon red carpet. “We met Captain Kerry [Titheradge] last night at What What Happens Live and he’s so lovely,” Kelliher reported. “You can’t go wrong with any iteration of Below Deck,” Kelliher laughed.

She added: “The show’s amazing fanbase keeps us all going.”

Her Below Deck Sailing Yacht bosun/partner-in-crime Gary King seconded her sentiments: “The fact that the franchise continues to expand to different areas of the world just how good it is.” “The viewers love the format and want it to keep going, and I’m all for it!” King added enthusiastically.

As a fellow Aussie, Below Deck Down Under‘s Captain Jason Chambers enthusiastically vouched for the new show’s captain, Captain Kerry. “He’s a great guy,” said Chambers, “very honest and very firm.”

Chambers is also excited to see the Below Deck series expand into Norway. He noted: “We’re seeing new things. Like the Australian franchise and the sailing franchise, this show offers something a little bit different.”

Below Deck Sailing Yacht‘s Captain Glenn Shepherd observed that the new show fits nicely into the well-loved Below Deck mix of dramatic reality show and travel show. He added: “It’s also got elements of a food show because a big part of any charter is the cuisine.”

Below Deck Mediterranean lead deckhand Courtney Veale is thrilled about Below Deck Adventure and wouldn’t mind potentially joining the cast! She explained: “I want to be on it. Are they going to be jumping out of planes and stuff? Because that I want to do. I love an adventure!”

Her fellow Below Deck Mediterranean yachtie Mzi “Zee” Dempers agreed: “Sometimes the Mediterranean can get a little boring, so going on an adventure would be incredible.”

A wise woman, Veale is already pushing for a Below Deck Mediterranean/ Below Deck Adventure mashup. “I think fans would love to see a crossover,” Veale laughed. “Let’s all start manifesting.”
