‘GMA’ Co-Hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach’s Sneaky Affair Exposed, ABC News President Says She Didn’t Know

Looks like Good Morning Americas T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are much more than co-hosts. The news anchors’ alleged steamy affair has been revealed after The Daily Mail published photos of the two looking more like a couple than co-workers.

The two anchors co-host Good Morning America‘s lunchtime program, GMA3, which was introduced as a replacement for GMA3: Strahan, Sara & Keke after the show was canceled during the pandemic. Holmes joined Robach on the ABC talk show in September 2020, which also includes Dr. Jennifer Ashton, per Deadline.

Holmes and Robach, who each married their respective partners in 2010, are long-time friends and often gushed about one another on their now-deleted social media accounts. Following Robach’s unexplained absence from today’s broadcast, however, Daily Mail is alleging that they are in a romantic relationship.

The outlet published a series of steamy photos of the co-workers over the past few weeks, depicting the two cozying up in a New York City bar, visiting each other’s apartments and escaping to a cottage in upstate New York just two weeks prior to Thanksgiving.

Today’s broadcast of GMA3 was hosted solely by Holmes, Insider reports. “Welcome to GMA3, minus two. Ain’t that something?” he said while opening the show. He continued to joke that viewers were “stuck” with him, before explaining that Robach and Ashton were working elsewhere for the day.

Ahead of breaking the story, sources told Daily Mail, “Everyone knows that Amy and T.J. have been close friends for a long time now, running together and even socializing as a foursome with each other’s spouses.”

The outlet alleges that Kim Godwin, President of ABC News, knew of the relationship but is now stating otherwise. Congruently, Page Six has reported that Holmes and Robach went through “extreme lengths” to hide their affair.

Page Six also claims the co-hosts have left their respective spouses following the alleged affair, which reportedly began in March, while The Daily Mail alleges they struck up their romance in June.

Decider has reached out to Good Morning America for comment, but did not hear back by time of publication.
