Netflix is ready to steam up your screen with a new adaptation of Lady Chatterley’s Lover, D. H. Lawrence’s controversial novel known for its frank depictions of sex and infidelity, which is coming to the streaming service this weekend.
Directed by Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre, with a screenplay by David Magee, this 2022 version of Lady Chatterley’s Lover stars Emma Corrin as an English woman who marries an upperclassman, Sir Clifford Chatterley, who sustains an injury in the war that leaves him paralyzed from the waist down. As she cares for her husband while he recovers, the handsome new gamekeeper, Oliver Mellos (played by Skins star Jack O’Connell) catches the Lady’s eye.
True to the source material, this R-rated Netflix film does not shy away from nudity and explicit sex scenes. Obviously, you don’t want to miss it.
