Willow on Disney+ is the rare “Chosen One” epic that is really all about the ensemble. Willow Ufgood (Warwick Davis), Kit Tanthalos (Ruby Cruz), Jade (Erin Kellyman), Prince Graydon (Tony Revolori), Thraxus Boorman (Amar Chadha-Patel), and the newly revealed Elora Danan (Ellie Bamber) have to reluctantly join forces to save Kit’s brother Airk (Dempsey Bryk) from his evil kidnappers beyond the Shattered Sea. Along the way, they battle cursed warriors and get into scrapes and crack non-stop jokes. Willow is an incredibly fun show to watch and it seems it was even more fun to make. In this exclusive behind-the-scenes clip, you can see just how silly the cast of Willow got on set.

The short behind-the-scenes clip opens with Warwick Davis deadpanning that “a lot of people have commented on how unfortunate the young cast is to have me as a mentor for them.” We then see Davis joke with Tony Revolori that he should find his “own close-up,” but the snipe is met with laughs.

In fact, there’s non-stop giggling in this behind-the-scenes Willow clip. We see Ellie Bamber shimmying mid magic lesson, Erin Kellyman and Ruby Cruz dancing like madwomen on a cliff, and Amar Chadha-Patel consistently falling over as he sits down to relax. “I don’t know if it’s a problem with this butt?” Cruz muses to Kellyman.

“When we get together, anything is funny,” Chadha-Patel says. “Even things that aren’t funny become very funny.”

In between the montage of on-set pranks and foul-mouthed (but blacked out) bloopers, Kellyman earnestly says, “I’m going to be really sad to leave the cast and the crew. These people are my family.”

As for any spoilers in the clip? Well, let’s just say one member of Team Willow is going to have a hair style change at some point during the season. See if you can spot who it is.
