Jimmy Kimmel Calls Elon Musk A “Troll” And Roasts Him For Pronouns Tweet About Fauci

First John Oliver, now Jimmy Kimmel. On last night’s broadcast of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the talk show host ripped into Elon Musk for his lame joke about Dr. Anthony Fauci. Kimmel made fun of the new Twitter boss, saying he’s “filling the troll hole vacated by Donald Trump.”

Musk tweeted on Sun, Dec. 11, “My pronouns are Prosecute/Facui” in what appears to be another joke aimed at the non-binary community, the first of which warranted a response from his then-partner Grimes, who told him at the time,  “I cannot support hate. Please stop this. I know this isn’t your heart.”

The joke is also a desperate cry for approval from anti-science conservatives who think the White House’s chief medical adviser is a fraud for his COVID-19 advising.

“On top of being small-minded, lowest common denominator garbage, and spreading false and dangerous conspiracy theories against a doctor who works for our good, it’s also just a terrible joke,” Kimmel said on last night’s show.

He continued, “It’s like a joke generated by AI. It doesn’t make any sense. The structure’s wrong, it didn’t rhyme with anything relevant. There’s too many syllables. It’s exactly the kind of joke you’d expect from a guy who named his son after the bottom row of the eye chart,” referring to Musk and Grimes’ child named X Æ A-Xii.

When telling a story about a “very nice guy” who, over the weekend, asked him if he “got no love for Elon,” Kimmel explained, “It’s not just Elon, specifically. I have a problem with any richest man in the world who comes to this country to casually slander a doctor who’s devoted his entire life to protecting our children from HIV and COVID and Zika and Swine Flu and Ebola.”

He continued to say that Musk spends his time “playing grab ass with Trump and firing rockets into space” to prove his “penis works.”

Kimmel concluded the topic by saying that he has “no love for Elon, bro … as long as he’s attacking and spreading lies about decent Americans.” He then tipped his hat to Fauci, whom he said “has been doing his best to protect the world since before this vomit casserole was born.”

Just last month, Oliver roasted Musk on Last Week Tonight, saying that Twitter is worse than ever before following the businessman’s acquisition. While he charted facts about the increase of racist remarks and the mess being made of Twitter verification, Oliver also got in a few good jabs, once describing Musk as: “What if Willy Wonka benefited from apartheid?”

Looks like Elon Musk is free game (and I’m here for it).
