Sharon Osbourne Hospitalized After Falling Ill Filming ‘Jack and Kelly Osbourne: Night of Terror’

Sharon Osbourne has returned home after suffering a medical emergency that landed her in the hospital over the weekend, according to her son Jack Osbourne. The former co-host of The Talk was filming a paranormal series for the Travel Channel, Jack and Kelly Osbourne: Night of Terror, when the incident occurred, per TMZ.

“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support,” Jack wrote on an Instagram Story over the weekend. “As to what happened to mum, I’m gonna leave it to her to share about when she is ready.”

Sharon reportedly fell ill Friday night (Dec. 16) while filming the show at the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, Calif., which has been featured on other paranormal shows such as Ghost Adventuresaccording to TMZWhile further details about Sharon’s hospitalization were not immediately available, it looks like we’ll just have to wait for her to share them on her own terms.

This isn’t the first health struggle she has faced over the last 20 years. Sharon had previously been diagnosed with colon cancer in 2002 and underwent surgery and chemotherapy to recover. She also had a double mastectomy in 2012 after learning she was genetically predisposed to breast cancer, per Entertainment Weekly.

Despite this, she has maintained her busy schedule. After being axed from The Talk in 2021, she went on to star in her own Fox Nation docuseries Sharon Osbourne: To Hell and Back earlier this year. She has also been taking care of rock-and-roll husband Ozzy Osbourne, who has been living with Parkinson’s Disease since 2003 and underwent spinal surgery in June to keep him from becoming paralyzed.

“When I look at my husband, my heart breaks for him,” Sharon said of the Black Sabbath frontman in the ITV documentary Paxman: Putting Up With Parkinson’s. “I’m sad for myself to see him that way, but what he goes through is worse. And sometimes when I look at him and he doesn’t know I’m looking at him, I’m like crying.”
