Are Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes on ‘GMA3’ Today, Dec. 20?

Are you confused? I’m confused. GMA3: What You Need to Know has been cycling through replacement anchors since co-hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were removed from the air on Dec. 2 following their alleged affair.

The two were regular hosts alongside Dr. Jennifer Ashton, who has been joined by DeMarco Morgan and Rhiannon Ally for the last week, and Stephanie Ramos and Gio Benitez the week prior. But now, Ashton is taking a little break for the holidays, which she announced on Friday’s (Dec. 16) broadcast.

We speculated yesterday (Dec. 19) that we would be seeing three fill-in hosts; however, due to the final Jan. 6 congressional hearing, ABC aired a live broadcast of the events in Washington D.C. rather than the scheduled episode.

But where does that leave us today? TMZ has reported that the dethroned anchors will not be returning to the lunchtime program for the remainder of the year, due to the ongoing review and their pre-established holiday plans. Cue the “it’s been 84 years” GIF: Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are, once again, absent from GMA3: What You Need To Know. The two anchors have been absent from the talk show for the last two, now going on three, weeks. On top of it all, Dr. Jennifer Ashton is also absent from the program due to her holiday vacation.

It’s not all bad news, though! Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ names are still included in the talk show’s opening sequence. Ahead of each broadcast, the tagline “Now, from Times Square, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes with Dr. Jen Ashton and What You Need to Know” is read aloud by a narrator.

Who is replacing Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes today?

Today’s broadcast sees DeMarco Morgan and Rhiannon Ally filling in for Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes on GMA3: What You Need To Know. The two have been replacements since last week with Morgan being present since Friday, Dec. 9 and Ally joining him on the following Monday.

Joining the two and filling in for Dr. Jennifer Ashton is ABC News Medical Contributor Dr. Darien Sutton.

Where are Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes?

At the top of the episode, Rhiannon Alley stated that she and DeMarco Morgan are “filling in” for Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes. The replacement anchors did not offer any additional information, compared to the first week the two were pulled off air and replacement host Stephanie Ramos claimed they “had the day off.”

There was no comment about Dr. Jennifer Ashton’s absence.
