Are Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes on ‘GMA3’ Today, Dec. 28?

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, where are you? Well, we know where they are: they’re living it up in Atlanta, where perhaps they’re going to ring in the new year. But where does that leave GMA3: What You Need To Know?

The two dethroned hosts have been absent for the last three weeks – making this their fourth – following the events of their alleged affair. To top it all off, their co-host Dr. Jennifer Ashton is off on holiday vacation until who knows when.

This means, every day we’ve been tuning into GMA3 to see which replacement hosts will grace our screens. For the last two weeks, DeMarco Morgan and Rhiannon Ally were at the helm, and before that, it was Gio Benitez and Stephanie Ramos.

Once Ashton disappeared on Dec. 19, ABC News Medical Contributor Dr. Darien Sutton began filling in.

Due to the Christmas holiday, the network aired pre-taped programs on Dec. 23 and Dec. 26, and then came yesterday, when we were greeted with another new trio. Joining Sutton at the news table was Benitez, once again, and Janai Norman.

But how long will they be occupying the hot seat? Benitez teased on Instagram yesterday that he will be on the lunchtime talk show for “today and tomorrow,” leaving Thursday an anticipated surprise.

With Robach and Holmes jetting to the South for the holiday season, per The Daily Mail, it is clear that they don’t intend on returning to the show until the new year, if permitted, following their internal investigation.

The drama continues to brew, but we won’t let that overshadow our very, very important coverage. Who is on air on GMA3 today? Continue reading to find out.

Are Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes on GMA3 Today?

This is rather unfortunate, isn’t it? We’re sad to report that Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are absent from today’s broadcast of GMA3: What You Need To Know after having last appeared on the talk show on Dec. 2. Hopefully they’re soaking in the sun in Georgia, where it looks like it’ll be in the sixties later this week!

In addition to their absence, Dr. Jennifer Ashton is also away from work for her holiday vacation. When will she return? Who knows? But after the drama she’s been dragged into, she’s well-earned this family time.

Are Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ names still included in the announcement?

We might be pushing four weeks since Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have appeared on GMA3: What You Need To Know, but their names are still included in the talk show’s opening sequence. Ahead of each broadcast, the tagline “Now, from Times Square, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes with Dr. Jennifer Ashton and What You Need to Know” is read aloud by a narrator.

We suspect their names won’t be removed from the introduction until ABC announces a concrete plan for future broadcasts. As for now, the network is cycling through replacements until the internal review is complete.

Who is replacing Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes today?

Well, that was anti-climatic. We have the same trio from yesterday. Today’s broadcast of GMA3: What You Need To Know sees Gio Benitez and Janai Norman taking over for Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, and Dr. Darien Sutton filling in for Dr. Jennifer Ashton.

Where are Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes?

Well, we know that Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are chilling in Atlanta, but has there been any buzz about their return to the lunchtime talk show? Unfortunately not. After the first day they were taken off air and replacement host Stephanie Ramos said they “have the day off,” there have been no additional on-air comments about their absence. Moving forward, replacement hosts have been stating that they are “filling in” for the regular hosts.

Dr. Jennifer Ashton has also not revealed details about her return. Every day is a gamble when it comes to this show! ABC News, if you want to give us a scoop, our inboxes are open!
