Now, Page Six and The Sun are reporting on the inconclusive findings of the ongoing review. A source told the UK outlet that it is unlikely that a decision will be made this week. “There really isn’t a timeline. This is an internal review, and whenever that concludes is when the announcement will be made for the GMA3 audience,” the insider shared.

Page Six was informed by a source that Holmes is “confident” his behavior doesn’t warrant losing his job, saying he’s “done nothing wrong” in that context. Another source said that the review is taking a long time because “they want to make sure there aren’t going to be even more women coming out” amid his other alleged affair with a show producer.

But here’s the thing: players are gonna play and as long as it’s in a consensual manner, all of this seems like an extreme reaction that is in poor reflection of the uber-conservative network. There’s nothing wrong with ensuring a safe workplace, but there is something wrong about potentially damaging the careers of two anchors who have worked hard to get the positions they hold all because they have a messy personal life (which would be kept private if it wasn’t for icky tabloid culture).

Since the reveal, the network has been cycling through replacement hosts, starting with Gio Benitez and Stephanie Ramos, and continuing with DeMarco Morgan, Rhiannon Ally, Janai Norman and a short stint by Dr. Darien Sutton.
