“Big Bully” Lisa Rinna Exits ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ After 8 Drama-Filled Seasons

Lisa Rinna is saying farewell to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The 59-year-old reality star has been part of the hit Bravo franchise since 2010, when she appeared in an episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, but her years-long run is coming to a close.

Known for her long standing feuds with many costars – notably Lisa Vanderpump and Kathy Hilton – and her self-deprecating humor, Rinna joined the Beverly Hills cast in 2014 and went on to make an appearance in The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Rinna opened up about her exit in a statement shared with People, expressing gratitude for her time in the franchise. “This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series. It has been a fun 8-year run and I am excited for what is to come!’” the reality star said.

People reports that Rinna’s contract expired at the end of Season 12 and after meeting with Bravo, it was mutually agreed that she wouldn’t return.

Last season, Rinna dealt with the death of her mother, Lois, who had previously appeared on the show. She was also involved in a controversy surrounding Hilton.

Hilton blasted Rinna at The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, throwing shade at the other woman for spreading drama on social media and deleting it “20 minutes later.”

“You are the biggest bully in Hollywood and everyone knows it,” Hilton told Rinna. “You’re mean and you don’t tell the truth.”

Before this altercation, Hilton threatened to leave the series if Rinna remained on it. “I had said that I would only be willing to come back if the cast [changed]. If it was completely the same, absolutely not,” Hilton told TMZ.

She continued, “Because I feel they are two bullies that intimidate a lot of the other girls,” referring to Rinna and RHOBH star Erika Jayne.

Well, we’ll miss Rinna and her drama – and the people on Twitter seem to agree (even though she was recently booed at BravoCon).

In addition to starring in the reality show, Rinna has an impressive acting resume, including roles in Days of Our Lives, Melrose Place and Veronica Mars.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is set to begin production on Season 13 in the coming weeks.
