Are Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes on ‘GMA3’ Today, Jan. 12?

Well, it’s Friday Eve and Good Morning America hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have yet to return to their lunchtime program GMA3: What You Need to Know.

What does this mean? We aren’t for certain, but it seems to hint the two are still under investigation by the head honchos at ABC.

After being caught in a scandalous affair back in November, Robach and Holmes were removed from air and dubbed “distracting” by ABC News President Kim Godwin. Now, the two hosts are undergoing an internal review by the network to ensure that there wasn’t any additional funny business happening behind the scenes.

In the meantime, Robach and Holmes have been making the most of their free time. The two anchors were caught cozying up to one another in Atlanta and then in Miami over the holidays.

It was reported yesterday (Jan. 11) that they are “stronger than ever” and are just “going along and doing their thing.” An insider told People, “There’s no grounds to fire them on and they believe they won’t be fired. The network is just waiting for things to cool down. This happens at companies all the time.”

If you ask me, things have definitely cooled down. In fact, it’s colder than ever before. The talk show has been continuing to broadcast with the third regular host, Dr. Jennifer Ashton, and a cycle of replacement hosts for Robach and Holmes, including Stephanie Ramos, Gio Benitez, Janai Normal, Dr. Darien Sutton, DeMarco Morgan and Rhiannon Ally – and perception of the bunch has been wavering.

Sutton proved to be a fan-favorite host of the series but was quickly ousted when Ashton returned from her holiday vacation. Now, it seems that Morgan and Ally are more permanent fill-ins for the show, having hosted multiple weeks in a row.

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ names still continue to be recognized during the opening sequence of GMA3: What You Need To Know. “Now, from Times Square, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes with Dr. Jennifer Ashton and what you need to know” is read aloud by a narrator at the top of every broadcast.

We suspect their names will not be removed from the introduction until ABC announces a concrete plan for the future of the talk show.
