Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes Prepare To Sue ABC As ‘GMA3’ Future Seems Unlikely

As their fate on GMA3 hangs in the balance, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have hired lawyers and are reportedly considering lawsuits against ABC.

According to Page Six, the duo are likely out at GMA3 just six weeks after their affair came to light.

“They have not been terminated yet, but I don’t expect T.J. to be on again,” an insider says. “They do want Amy to stay and be a part of things there, but likely not on ‘GMA3.’”

TMZ reported early Thursday that Robach has hired famed civil attorney Andrew Brettler to represent her while Holmes is working with Eric George.

One of the issues when it comes to litigation could be race. The two lawyers are planning to pose to ABC… “Has ABC ever used the morals or conduct clause to fire or discipline 2 consenting adults at equal levels when both were white?”

Holmes and Robach have been spotted together and well as leaving each other’s apartments several times since the affair came to light.

ABC’s president Kim Godwin made the decision to take the two TV journalists off air, claiming that their romance was too much of a “distraction” for viewers. She acknowledged at the time that the affair was “not a violation of company policy.”
