‘The Mandalorian’ Teases 2023 Return with Season 3 Trailer

It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for: Baby Yoda is back! Disney+ has dropped the anticipated trailer for the third season of The Mandalorian ahead of its March 1 release date, and we’re all still losing it over the cuteness of the tiny green humanoid.

The newly released trailer, capping in at nearly two minutes, shows the green fellow traveling around with the eponymous character, voiced by Pedro Pascal, via spaceship.

“Being a Mandalorian is not just about learning how to fight. You also have to know how to navigate the galaxy. That way, you’ll never be lost,” says the helmeted warrior.

The trailer continues to tease tons of action and drama, and at one point, a character warns, “There’s something dangerous happening out there and by the time it becomes big enough for you to act, it’ll be too late.”

But throughout it all, it’s truly Grogu who captures everybody’s attention.

In the final moments of the trailer, he comes face-to-face with a threatening creature and channels his “magic hand thing” again – thus showing that his powers are continuing to grow.

The third season premieres on Disney+ on March 1, following rumors of a February release date. But this isn’t the first we’ve seen of the new season as last September, the streamer released a teaser trailer at the D23 Expo, which has since been viewed over six million times.

It’s been over two years since the series, created by Jon Favreau, concluded its second season in December 2020. Since then, multiple Star Wars spin-offs have premiered on the streaming service, including Andor, Obi-Wan Kenobi and The Book of Boba Fett, the latter of which is also created by Favreau.
