Are Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes on ‘GMA3’ Today, Jan. 20?

The plot continues to thicken over at Good Morning America– and the latest update is quite distressing. It is nearing seven weeks since Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were taken off-air from their lunchtime program GMA3: What You Need To Know in light of their scandalous affair.

The Daily Mail revealed yesterday (Jan. 19) that Holmes had an affair with an ABC script coordinator, Jasmine Pettaway, in 2015. She was 24 years old at the time. The affair occurred a year prior to his alleged affair with ABC producer Natasha Singh.

An insider, who claimed to know Pettaway, told The Daily Mail: “He [Holmes] was a predator who took full advantage of his position, and he was reckless.”

Pettaway and Holmes joined the ABC News Team in September 2014 and often worked on the same shifts.

The source said, “Holmes was someone who would grab drinks and he and Jasmin started doing that” and alleged that that their professional relationship shifted after Holmes called Pettaway into his office on an occasion when he was drinking liquor.

Meanwhile, it was reported the two dethroned hosts are allegedly seeking legal action against the network for wrongful termination after being told that they’ve been booted for good. ABC has remained silent about their internal review and have continued to rotate through replacement hosts to occupy the news desk with regular host, Dr. Jennifer Ashton.

Thus far, DeMarco Morgan, Rhiannon Ally, Stephanie Ramos, Gio Benitez, Janai Normal, and Dr. Darien Sutton have taken the helm with Morgan and Ally seeming to be the network’s favorite as they’ve hosted the most broadcasts.

At the top of each broadcast, a narrator states: “Now, from Times Square, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes with Dr. Jennifer Ashton and what you need to know.” We suspect their names will not be removed from the opening sequence until ABC announces a concrete plan for the future of the talk show.
