Affairs, divorces, firings, oh my! Good Morning America hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have been flooded with controversy since they were taken off-air from their lunchtime program GMA3: What You Need To Know in light of their scandalous affair. Now, it’s been over seven weeks since they last hosted and there’s no end in sight.

The Sun reported yesterday that Robach was shocked by the public response to her affair and didn’t expect it to cause an uproar, outside of her marriage. An insider said, “She did not expect this to blow up into a scandal.”

It also looks like there’s trouble in paradise as the source also claimed that Robach has been taken by surprise by Holmes’ “past office romances,” which includes affairs with ABC producer Natasha Singh and ABC script coordinator Jasmine Pettaway. A source who claims to be a close friend of Pettaway described Holmes as “a predator” to The Daily Mail.

Before these rumors hit the wind, it was alleged that Holmes and Robach were pursuing legal action against ABC for wrongful termination after being told that they’ve been booted for good. Meanwhile, workers at ABC have stated that “morale” is at an “all-time low” at the network. ABC News president Kim Godwin has been called “inconsistent” in her handling of the situation by an insider, per Page Six.

ABC has remained silent about their internal investigation, even amid rumors that Robach and Holmes have been booted for good. Since then, the show has been rotating through replacement hosts to occupy the news desk with regular host, Dr. Jennifer Ashton. Thus far, DeMarco Morgan, Rhiannon Ally, Stephanie Ramos, Gio Benitez, Janai Normal, and Dr. Darien Sutton have appeared on the talk show, with Morgan and Ally seeming to be the network’s favorite.

Yesterday, the broadcast went differently as it opened with reports about the mass shooting at a dance studio in Monterey Park which occurred after a Lunar New Year celebration and left ten people dead. The narration at the top of the episode said, “Now, from Times Square and Monterey Park, California, a special edition of GMA3 and what you need to know.”
