Paramount+‘s Criminal Minds revival series, Criminal Minds: Evolution, aired its Season 1 finale on February 9. But before the show bid a temporary farewell to fans, it paid tribute to producer Harry Bring.

Episode 10, “Dead End,” gave viewers some much-needed closure on Elias Voit (Zach Gilford) and David Rossi’s (Joe Mantegna) storylines, while setting up several cliffhangers to be explored in Season 2. Before the end credits rolled, the series also flashed a tribute card that read, “In Loving Memory Of Harry Bring.”

Who was Harry Bring? And what was his connection to Criminal Minds? Here’s everything we know about the show’s longtime producer.

Who Is Harry Bring And What Is His Connection To Criminal Minds: Evolution?

Harry Bring was a television producer who worked on Criminal Minds and other series and films, including The X-Files, Melrose Place, Chaos, Into the Night, and more. He died on February 18, 2021 at age 77, and his son Brad Bring released a statement on Facebook with more information.

“Today we lost a legend at 77 year young. Harry Bring succumbed to a life full of laughter and hard work, dedication to family and friends and the love he had for Rhonda Leeds-Bring. He fought cancer for years and kicked its ass. That let him enjoy USC, the SF Giants, the Rams, hating on 45 and his grandkids a little longer. He embodied the Fight ON spirit of the Trojans,” Bring’s son wrote, per Variety.

Harry Bring worked as an executive producer and a co-executive producer on nearly 200 episodes of the original Criminal Minds from 2011 to 2020. His IMDb page lists his other credits, which include Army Wives, in further detail. And Bring also worked as a production manager and an assistant director throughout his career.

Criminal Minds: Evolution premiered in 2022, more than a year after Bring’s death. But he was honored for being such a crucial member of the Criminal Minds family over the years.
