New Movies & Shows To Stream This Weekend: Somebody I Used To Know, Your Place Or Mine, At Midnight + More

Reese WItherspoon and Ashton Kutcher were mainstays of romantic comedies in the early aughts, and now they’ve united for a Netflix original, Your Place or Mine, in which they play best friends who swap apartments and realize they might have deeper feelings for one another than they thought. On Prime Video, Alison Brie teamed up with her real-life husband Dave Franco to write Somebody I Used To Know, a comedy about a woman who returns to her hometown and reconnects with her ex-boyfriend, only to discover that he’s getting married. And in director Jonah Feingold’s At Midnight, a hotel manager and a movie star start a clandestine affair, meeting up for dates every night at midnight.

Nope, no feelings whatsoever. New On Prime Video February 10: Somebody I Used To Know

In Prime Video’s Somebody I Used To Know, Alison Brie stars as Ally, a reality TV producer in L.A. who heads home to Washington state for a visit, where she encounters her ex-boyfriend Sean (Jay Ellis). She and Sean hit things off; the chemistry is still there and it would probably lead to one thing or another if not for the fact that Sean is engaged to Cassidy (Kiersey Clemons). Despite developing a friendship with Cassidy, Ally has to decide if she’s willing to risk destroying Sean and Cassidy’s relationship for another chance with him. Brie’s Community co-star Danny Pudi also appears in the film as Benny, Ally’s friend who advises her to leave the bride and groom alone, but will she take his advice?

New On Paramount+ February 10: At Midnight

Monica Barbaro plays fictional movie star Sophie Wilder in At Midnight, a new Paramount+ original. While shooting a film on location in Mexico, Wilder meets Alejandro (Diego Boneta), the manager of her hotel who has been assigned to assist her during her stay. The two hit it off and start meeting at midnight for dates, but their relationship is complicated by the fact that Sophie’s ex, who is also a big star, is in Mexico with her to film their movie, and she’s trying to keep her relationship with Alejandro a secret.
