Embattled comedian Roseanne Barr came for Jimmy Kimmel yesterday during a fiery Fox News interview promoting her comeback special, Cancel This!

Barr, who told Fox she tries to be “even more offensive” in her new stand-up release, claimed she “fell on the sword of the double-standards of the left” when she had a very public fall from grace in 2018 following a racist tweet, which got her Roseanne series canceled.

The sitcom star said people at ABC, the network that aired Roseanne, had done things “far more egregious” than her, but had never suffered the same consequences. She also claimed she was never given the chance to apologize for her words.

Speaking directly to the network, she added, “You should have allowed me go on your other news shows, particularly those ones hosted by people who have done blackface and you never fired them, you should have let me go on there.”

Barr directly then called out Kimmel, who hosts a late night show on ABC, telling Fox, “Jimmy Kimmel and his girlfriend Sarah Silverman, they did blackface and you never even said it is wrong that you did that. And they just let that go.”

Kimmel and Silverman — whom he is no longer dating — both performed in blackface in the past and have apologized for their behavior, with Silverman describing her actions as “aggressively stupid.”

In a statement issued in 2020, Kimmel said his blackface was “embarrassing,” and added that he has “evolved and matured” in the years since, per CNN.

Barr took a jab at Kimmel yesterday after he spoke out to defend her in 2018 amidst her racism scandal. Kimmel tweeted at the time that Barr was likely suffering from mental health issues and needed “compassion.”

“What @TheRealRoseanne said is indefensible, but angrily attacking a woman who is obviously not well does no good for anyone. Please take a breath and remember that mental health issues are real. The Roseanne I know could probably use some compassion and help right now.”
