Season two of the award-winning show Abbott Elementary is in full swing, and its charming characters and hilarious plot lines continue to warm viewer’s hearts.

Never watched the show? Abbott Elementary is a mockumentary-style sitcom about a predominantly Black public elementary school in Philiadelphia. It stars Quinta Brunson (who is also the creator of the show) as Janine Teagues, an optimistic second grade teacher who, despite lack of funding and the politics of the school district, will do everything she can to help her students succeed. Abbott Elementary also stars Tyler James Williams and Sheryl Lee Ralph as equally dedicated teachers, and Janelle James as the school’s incompetent, but hilarious principal.
