Who Is Gigi in Sex/Life Season 2?

Sex/Life Season 2 picks up right where Season 1 left off: Billie just stepped off of the elevator into Brad’s apartment. After the two launch into a passionate make-out session, Brad pumps the brakes and tells Billie that it’s too late for them to be together. YES, this same man proposed to her in front of her and her husband’s house a mere six months ago, but after Billie turned him down (again) he finally summoned the strength to move on. At the top of Season 2, Brad explains he dating someone else. But that’s not all…

“I met someone. Gigi. She’s a model. And she’s pregnant. We’re gonna start a family together,” Brad told Billie. “I can finally make things right — be the man you always wanted me to be.” WOAH, BABY. Literally.

As the Season 2 premiere progresses, Billie meets a new love interest, too. She and her new man Majid (Darius Homayoun) have a top-notch first date that ends in quite the kiss. But when Majid and Billie come up for air, Brad (who just so happens to be Majid’s friend and an investor in his business) appears and sees them together. As Billie and Brad are processing the unexpected connection, Gigi appears by Brad’s side and asks who he’s talking to. YIKES.

We only spend a brief moment with Gigi in the Season 2 premiere, but in Episode 2 we see her redecorating Brad’s apartment, getting rid of his black leather sofa and mattress, and showing him the sonogram photos of their baby BOY! A part of Brad’s mind is still clearly stuck on Billie, but he’s so moved by the idea of fatherhood in that moment that he PROPOSES to Gigi!

Who Plays Gigi in Sex/Life Season 2? Meet Wallis Day

As noted, Gigi in Sex/Life Season 2 is played by Wallis Day, a 28-year-old British actor and former model. Per her IMDb page, Day kickstarted her on-screen career in 2012 as Holly Cunningham in Hollyoaks, and she’s since starred in a number of TV series and films including Hollyoaks Later, Will, The Royals, Krypton, and Infinite. Day is likely best known for being recast in The CW’s Batwoman as Kate Kane. Day was cast after Ruby Rose held the role, then she exited the series ahead of Season 3.
