Raquel Leviss Files Restraining Order Against ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Co-Star Scheana Shay After Alleged Assault

Raquel Leviss has had enough! The Vanderpump Rules star reportedly filed a restraining order against her costar Scheana Shay after an alleged altercation caused by the show’s unfolding cheating scandal. 

Last week, news broke that long-time couple Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix had split after Sandoval was caught in an affair with Leviss.

It was reported that after the news hit the wind, Shay — who is close friends with Madix — got into a “heated confrontation” with Leviss over her behavior, with some claiming that the exchange got physical. 

According to TMZ, Leviss filed a restraining order against Shay on Tuesday (March 7), following rumors of the assault. 

While allegations of the interaction have yet to be confirmed, a source told People that when Leviss confessed to her ongoing affair with Sandoval, Shay “was furious,” and ET reports that the reality star “reportedly got physical with Leviss over it.”

The news of the affair broke last Friday (March 3) after Sandoval and Madix appeared together on Wednesday (March 1) to celebrate the release of Sandoval’s new single; however, sources close to Sandoval claim that the couple have been “on the outs for some time now.”

Shay isn’t the only one bearing the brunt of Leviss’ image control. Earlier this week, it was alleged that Leviss’s lawyers sent a letter to several of her co-stars dissuading them from sharing a leaked video which shows her having an NSFW FaceTime call with Sandoval. The lawyers claimed that the video was recorded “illegally without Raquel’s knowledge or consent.”

In other news, Sandoval seems to be taking a different approach to the scandal and recently shared an apology to his ex-girlfriend on Instagram.

“I want to first and foremost apologize to everyone I’ve hurt through this process. Most of all, I want to apologize to Ariana,” he wrote.

The singer continued, “I made mistakes, I was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love. No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly.” Sandoval concluded by saying that he “dishonored” Madix. 

But here’s the real question: with friendships and relationships on the outs, where does that leave the show? Can Vanderpump Rules continue filming if two co-stars have a restraining order against one another? Shay, Madix, and Sandoval have been on the show since the beginning, whereas Leviss joined as a guest in the fifth season and was just bumped to main in the ninth season. Will someone be cut from the forthcoming season? Only time will tell.
