Say goodbye to these… and by these I mean Seasons 1-5 of Arrested Development on Netflix.

The trenchant cult comedy responsible for quotable gems like “Her?”, “Get rid of the Seaward,” and the brilliant “beads/bees” bit is exiting Netflix, with all five seasons leaving the streamer on March 15. To quote infamous local magician Gob Bluth: C’mon!

Originally airing on FOX from 2003-2006, Mitch Hurwitz’s influential sitcom about a once wealthy dysfunctional family is one of the smartest comedies in TV history. Despite overwhelming critical acclaim, the show was canceled in 2006, but the series somewhat miraculously returned in 2013, with Netflix reviving the show for another run.

Thanks to an abundance of call-backs (and call-forwards), Arrested Development is a rewatchable comedy staple. Where can you stream this classic sitcom after it exits Netflix? Here’s everything you need to know.

Is Arrested Development Leaving Netflix?

Yep. The last day to stream the series on Netflix in the United States is March 14, 2023.

Why Is Arrested Development Leaving Netflix?

The writing was on the wall after Disney’s high-profile 2019 acquisition of FOX. Arrested Development is just the latest of a slew of former FOX shows to exit Netflix, with many of the programs ending up on Hulu and/or Disney+.

Where To Watch Arrested Development Online:

Seasons 1-3 of the cult sitcom are streaming on Hulu, while Seasons 1-4 are available to purchase on Amazon. Unfortunately, Season 5 won’t be available to stream after it exits Netflix.
