Lance Reddick, an actor known for his work on shows like The Wire and films like John Wick, has died. He was 60.

TMZ reports that Reddick was found dead at home in Studio City, Calif. earlier this morning at around 9:30 a.m. local time.

While no official cause of death has been announced, sources told TMZ they suspect the actor died of natural causes.

Reddick’s death comes amidst his press tour for the latest John Wick film, John Wick 4, in which he reprises his role Charon. Per TMZ, Reddick was slated to appear on The Kelly Clarkson Show next week. He skipped the film’s New York City premiere on Wednesday (March 15), instead opting to stay home with his dogs, as shown in an Instagram video he posted to his account that day.

Aside from his work on the John Wick franchise, Reddick appeared in dozens of additional shows and films throughout his career. While he originally studied music, earning his B.A. at the University of Rochester, he later attended the Yale School of Drama, where he graduated with an MFA in 1994.

His first role on IMDb is listed as Oscar Griffin in a 1996 episode of New York Undercover. He went on to appear in series like The Nanny and The West Wing in the ’90s, and later had a recurring role on HBO’s Oz as Johnny Basil. He frequently appeared in police dramas, booking roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order and CSI: Miami.

His famous turn in The Wire came in 2002, and he continued to star on the show through 2008, after which he appeared in four episodes of Lost. In more recent years, he appeared in Rick and Morty, American Horror Story, Bosch, Young Sheldon and Resident Evil.

While Reddick established himself as a TV staple, he also appeared in hit films like The Guest, Sylvie’s Love, One Night in Miami and Godzilla vs. Kong — and of course, all four John Wick movies.

His final credits include the latest John Wick, as well as The Legend of Vox Machina, Paradise PD and The Vindicators.
