Whether you want some scares or some heavy drama, there are plenty of new movie releases this weekend to satisfy your viewing preferences. The much-talked-about Cocaine Bear is one of several new movies on VOD this week, so now you can see what happens when wild animals get their hands on uppers in the forest. For more scary sylvan creatures, you can also check out Unwelcome, a new British horror about a family terrorized by the people who live in the woods near their new, idyllic rural home.

And if you want to steep yourself in some emotionally heart-wrenching drama check out All The World Is Sleeping, the new film that stars Scream VI actress Melissa Barrera as Chama, a young mother who is spiraling into addiction and runs the risk of having her daughter taken from her. Based on the real-life stories of seven young New Mexican women, All The World Is Sleeping is a story of addiction and motherhood that was co-produced by Bold Futures, and organization that highlights the stories of New Mexican women and people of color. The film co-stars Jackie Cruz, Jorge Garcia, and Lisandra Tena.

These are just a few of the titles that are available to watch on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, YouTube, and through your cable service this week. Check out what movies are available to buy or rent on demand now!

Unwelcome

Hannah John-Kamen, who has starred in Ant-Man and The Wasp and Netflix’s The Stranger, co-stars with Douglas Booth in Unwelcome, a horror film about a London couple who move to a rural Irish home when they learn they’re expecting a baby. They’re warned of local superstitions when they arrive and brush them off, but soon they become the victims of mysterious and violent visitors who live in the woods and threaten them and their new baby.

Cocaine Bear

Directed by Elizabeth Banks, Cocaine Bear is the loosely based-on-a-true-story movie about a bear who parties a little too hard and gets a little aggro when he ingests a duffel bag full of cocaine. In reality, the actual bear who ingested a bag of smuggled coke died alone in the woods and didn’t go on a murderous rampage, as she does in the film, but what kind of movie would that make? Here, said bear hilariously, violently pursues anyone who gets in the way of her good time. The film co-stars Keri Russell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Margo Martindale, and Ray Liotta in his final role.
