Actor and stunt performer Paul Grant died Monday (March 20), The Guardian reports. He was 56.

The actor was found collapsed outside King’s Cross Station in London last Thursday (March 16). He was pronounced brain dead after being rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead on Monday. The official cause of his death has not yet been shared. 

His daughter Sophie Jayne Grant confirmed his death, saying in a tribute, “I’m devastated. My dad was a legend in so many ways,” per The Sun.

She added, “He always brought a smile and laughter to everyone’s face. He would do anything for anyone and was a massive Arsenal fan.”

“He was an actor, father and grandad,” Sophie continued. “He loved his daughters and son and his girlfriend Maria very much, as well as her kids who were like stepchildren to him.”

Paul appeared in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in 1983 as an Ewok. He also appeared in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in 2001 as a goblin. 

Paul was also credited as a stunt performer in Legend (1985),  Labyrinth (1986), and Willow (1988). 

His girlfriend Maria Dwyer also shared a statement remembering the actor. “Paul was the love of my life. The funniest man I know,” she said, per The Sun. “He made my life complete. Life is never going to be the same without him.”

Grant is survived by Dwyer, his three children, as well as his step children and grandchildren.
