The first two rounds of March Madness are officially in the books. Were we entertained? Yes, 100%. Did our bracket survive the chaos? No. Absolutely not.

The 2023 tourney has already delivered a slew of surprises as No. 16 Fairleigh Dickinson upset No. 1 Purdue, and No. 15 Princeton defeated No. 2 Arizona and No. 7 Missouri to advance to the Sweet 16. A number of notable teams are still alive (No. 1 Houston and No. 1 Alabama, to name a few), but the clock has yet to strike midnight for a number of intriguing Cinderella squads.

When exactly does March Madness 2023 return? When can you watch the next round of March Madness games? Here’s everything you need to know.

Is March Madness On Tonight (March 21)?

Nope. Sorry, sports fans, but there’s no March Madness tonight. NIT action will, however, air on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN+.

When Are The Next March Madness Games?

The men’s March Madness tourney returns Thursday, March 23 with four games airing on TBS and CBS. The Sweet 16 concludes on Friday, March 24 with four additional games airing on TBS and CBS.

March Madness 2023 Schedule:

Thursday, March 23:

  • No. 7 Michigan State vs. No. 3 Kansas State (6:30 p.m. ET on TBS)
  • No. 9 Florida Atlantic vs. No. 4 Tennessee (9:00 p.m. ET on TBS)
  • No. 8 Arkansas vs No. 4 UConn (7:15 p.m. ET on CBS)
  • No. 3 Gonzaga vs. No. 2 UCLA (9:45 p.m. ET on CBS)

Friday, March 24:

  • No. 5 San Diego State vs. No. 1 Alabama (6:30 p.m. ET on TBS)
  • No. 15 Princeton vs. No. 6 Creighton (9:00 p.m. ET on TBS)
  • No. 5 Miami vs. No. 1 Houston (7:15 p.m. ET on CBS)
  • No. 3 Xavier vs. No. 2 Texas (9:45 p.m. ET on CBS)

Elite 8 games will air Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26, with the two Final Four matchups taking place on Saturday, April 1. The National Championship airs Monday, April 3.
