Al Roker Visibly Recoils After Jameela Jamil Overshares About “Booty Call” Gone Awry: “He Misused a Drug That Excites a Man’s Sausage”

Nobody prepared Al Roker for the filthy things that came out of Jameela Jamil’s mouth during her recent Today Show appearance. The She-Hulk star visited the NBC talk show to promote her new podcast about bad dates, and arrived with a few stories of her own. 

On Tuesday (Mar. 21), Jamil joined The Today Show, anchored by Roker, Dylan Dreyer, Craig Melvin and Sheinelle Jones, to break down some misconceptions about bad dates. 

The actor claimed that bad dates are “universal,” saying, “It doesn’t matter how hot or smart or cool or funny or famous or rich you are, you are never exempt from a terrible date.” She even had a story of her own when prompted to share by Melvin. 

“How do I tell this legally?” Jamil wondered aloud before launching into a recount. She began, “I had a man take several steps into my apartment on what was supposed to be my first-ever booty call. He collapsed three steps in and he broke all of his front teeth.”

At this point, all of the anchors were reacting in shock.  Jamil continued, “They flew across my apartment,” referring to her date’s teeth. “He split his chin open and collapsed, and it’s because he misused a drug that excites a man’s sausage.” 

The actor joked, “You know what the drug is, but I can’t say it.” 

During this interaction, Roker appeared both uncomfortable and unenthused. He pursed his lips and continued to look down at his notes while Jamil exclaimed to the group of anchors, “You’re never going to have me on this show again.”

Roker changed the subject, asking her, “Would you say that if you have the bad dates, it makes you appreciate the good dates?” 

Jamil answered, “100 percent!” Then Melvin asked her, “How long was the man out?” to which Jones said, “Will you stop asking questions about it?”

Jamil quietly shared, “It was a while.”

The group went on to joke that the producers were motioning for them to move on, prompting Roker to ask Jamil about her “big announcement,” which was related to her new movement focusing on “exercising for joy” rather than weight loss.
