What’s happening to Today With Hoda and Jenna this week? The NBC talk show will air pre-recorded episodes through Friday (March 24), following Hoda Kotb’s recent return to the program after a “family health matter” kept her away for over a week.

According to Page Six, Kotb is taking a week-long absence from The Today Show and Today With Hoda and Jenna while her children, Haley and Hope, are on spring break. Her co-host, Jenna Bush Hager, will also be off air from the fourth hour program.

This week’s episodes of Today With Hoda and Jenna are pre-recorded given that both reporters are on a break.

Kotb recently had an extended leave from NBC due to a “family health matter,” per her colleague Craig Melvin.

On Feb. 20, the anchor was first missing from her hosting duties. She was absent for two weeks. She returned to the show on March 6, telling viewers that her three-year-old daughter, Hope, was in the “ICU for a few days and in the hospital for a little more than a week.”

During the broadcast, the host revealed that her daughter was “back home” and expressed gratitude for those who supported her and her family during the difficult time.

The following day, Kotb wrote on Instagram, “Thank you for all of your beautiful words and prayers. I have read them all. You have no idea how much it means to me and my family. I am so profoundly touched.”

The Today Show airs on weekdays at 7 a.m. ET on NBC.
