One thing about The Real Housewives of New Jersey that never fails to disappoint is the fact that, at times, the house-husbands’ drama is equally as juicy as the housewives’. After a preview for next week’s episode of the Bravo series showed Teresa Giudice‘s new husband Luis Ruelas admitting he wears her deceased father’s clothes, fans have labeled him as a certified “creep.”

In the short clip, Ruelas is seen talking with Giudice’s brother, Joe Gorga — with whom he has ongoing beef throughout the entirety of the season. To date, we’ve seen Joe slam his hands down as he yelled across the table at his brother-in-law over Melissa Gorga‘s family not being invited to the wedding — the same wedding we know the Gorgas eventually skip out on themselves.

“I live with your four nieces. I wear your father’s pajamas at night to make them feel safe and loving,” Ruelas — who came into the picture following their father’s death in 2020 — tells a shocked Gorga in the trailer.

While we aren’t quite sure of the context surrounding the oddball revelation, fans flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts. One wrote, “So weird! It made me cringe.”

“Wearing a dead persons jammies is weird AF,” another added. “Especially when you didn’t know the person at all. As much as Teresa has calmed down, there is still something so, so weird about Luis.”

A third person said, “Absolutely fucking bonkers. I’d be jumping up across a table.”

Another noted, “Idk if this would get a rise out of anyone, if anything it would creep them out. 😅😅 Love Tre but I would of told Luis to take that off and never touch it again.”

“I’m glad Joe kept his cool coz that was triggering like a MF,” someone wrote, while another pointed out, “Luis is a creep of epic proportions.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs on Tuesday nights at 9/8c on Bravo. You can stream it the next day on Peacock.
