Will we be seeing Heather Rae El Moussa in Selling Sunset Season 7? According to the reality star herself, that’s TBD.

Heather and her husband Tarek El Moussa appeared on E! News Wednesday (March 29) evening, where she revealed the “frustrating” news that she hasn’t been called back for Selling Sunset Season 7 yet, which is currently filming.

“Season 7 is filming right now, but I’ve been off maternity leave and I’ve been excited to get back to work and so far I have not been called back,” she said.

El Moussa has been on maternity leave since giving birth to her son Tristan in January. But she’s been expected to return to the hit Netflix show since she has been a regular cast member since it premiered in 2019.

“It’s been a little frustrating. So [I’m] not sure what’s been going on,” she said. She continued to assert her frustration, saying, “I’ve been there from the pilot, from the beginning.”

Her husband agreed, calling her an “O.G.”

Though she hasn’t been called back for Selling Sunset Season 7 just yet, El Moussa and her husband filmed their own reality show for HGTV last summer when El Moussa was pregnant with their first son. The Flipping El Moussas, which premiered March 2, is a home renovation show where the couple buys and flips houses together.

El Moussa announced that she was “(kinda) off maternity leave” in an Instagram post shared just two weeks ago where she’s pictured with her new castmate, Bre Tiesi. “This mama is (kinda) off maternity leave and duty called so back to work today. This was the longest I’ve been away from Tristan & it was really freakin tough,” she wrote, referring to her son. “I was excited to see my SS girls and get back into the swing of things.”

She also added, “I was filled in on all the drama since I’ve been gone.”

A release date for Selling Sunset Season 6 — which El Moussa will be featured in — has not been announced yet, but El Moussa confirmed fans should be getting a release date “soon.”
