The Big Door Prize, which is now streaming on Apple TV+ as of March 29, is not just a brilliant science fiction dramedy series based on M.O. Walsh’s eponymous novel, but a thrilling experience from front to back.

Where was the The Big Door Prize filmed?

The Big Door Prize is filmed in Georgia, specifically in Loganville and Atlanta (where the studio is located).

Principal photography for the debut season of the comedy-drama series commenced in January 2022 under the working title Zoltar and wrapped up in April of the same year.

Given the picturesque landscapes across the state of Georgia, production can find many different backdrops suitable for each one of the show’s scenes. They repainted and repurposed several different streets and storefronts in Loganville, in and around Main Street.
