Where to Stream:

Cocaine Bear

If you missed out on watching Cocaine Bear—you know, the movie about the bear who does cocaine—in theaters, first of all, I’m sorry. It was truly a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience. But the good news is that there is now a Cocaine Bear Peacock release date: Friday, April 14, 2023.

Cocaine Bear has already been available to purchase on VOD digital platforms for a few weeks, but now anyone with a Peacock Premium subscription will be able to stream the movie for free, any time they want. The movie was a box office hit when it opened in theaters on February 24, opening weekend expectations with $28 million globally. It is following the same streaming release pattern of another popular Universal horror movie, M3gan, which began streaming on Peacock exactly seven weeks after the film opened in theaters.

Directed by Elizabeth Banks, and written by Jimmy Warden, Cocaine Bear is an intentionally ridiculous horror movie, technically based on a true story, about a bear who—you guessed it—does cocaine, and kills a bunch of people. You really don’t need to know much more about it than that. It delivers on its promise! The cast includes Keri Russell, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Christian Convery, Alden Ehrenreich, Brooklynn Prince, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Margo Martindale, and, in his final film role ever, Ray Liotta.

You can sign up for Peacock Premium to watch Cocaine Bear with ads for $4.99 a month, or you can sign up for Peacock Premium Plus to watch Cocaine Bear without ads for $9.99 a month. Both tiers will give you access to the movie. However, you will not be able to watch Cocaine Bear on the free version of Peacock.

Get your White Claws ready, and get ready to watch a bear do a truly ludicrous amount of coke.
