It’s a small world but New Jersey is an even smaller state. In a tale as old as time, a Real Housewives of New Jersey star bangs Tony Soprano — and according to the latest episode of the hit Bravo reality series, it is 110% a true story!

Jennifer Fessler — a clear-cut fan favorite since joining the show at the start of this season and rage-eating mozzarella cheese while the rest of the bunch screamed and yelled at one another — revealed that she once slept with James Gandolfini, the late actor known for his role as the New Jersey-based mobster in The Sopranos.

The confession, which came as the ladies were heading to a castle at the start of their Ireland trip, was brought up after Fessler told the group that she once worked as a talent agent. When Margaret Josephs asked how many people she slept with, she bluntly replied, “James Gandolfini. That’s a fact.”

Leaving the rest of the housewives in shock — literally, their mouths fell to the ground — Fessler added, “He had that sex appeal to him,” before admitting that she got “so upset” when he died in 2013.

“Jeff was like, ‘You realize you weren’t in a relationship with him,’” she recalled of her husband’s reaction to her heartbreak over the actor’s passing.

While speaking in her confessional interview, Fessler went into more detail about the surprising rendezvous.

“I met James Gandolfini before The Sopranos. I was obsessed,” she told the cameras. “He actually took me to an S&M bar. It was crazy. And we hung out and we drank and we went back to his apartment and we fucked.”

Fessler continued, “He was so the one that got away. But it was also the one that was never really there. But he absolutely was inside me. That is a fact. More than once.”
