Mark Consuelos will be joining his wife and new co-host Kelly Ripa soon enough on daytime television, but he says there’s one thing the famous couple definitely won’t be talking about on their show.

Consuelos talked a bit about what to expect from the famously randy pair in a new episode of Just For Variety. When asked if they’ll get as candid on the talk show as they recently did on Ripa’s SiriusXM podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, Consuelos said “definitely” not.

“That’s what I love about my wife… She’s an open book, and that’s why America has fallen in love with her for the past 23 years,” he told Variety.

On that episode, Consuelos and Ripa were joined by their marriage counselor as they discussed their marriage’s growing pains and their active sex life.

“We had sexual rituals that were so ludicrous over FaceTime,” Ripa admitted at the time. She revealed they had NSFW FaceTime dates when Consuelos was out of town filming Riverdale.

She continued, “I hung the computer over a ladder so that I could look up to Mark and he did not have to see what gravity was actually doing. You get really close to yourself in situations where you’re separated from your husband for long periods of time.”

Consuelos told Variety, “I think the audience has a really good BS detector. But I definitely do not think we will be talking about that from 9 to 10 A.M. on Mondays through Fridays.”

He later joked those types of candid conversations are more of “a podcast thing.”

Consuelos is set to replace Ryan Seacrest on Live With Kelly And Ryan starting April 17. He has appeared as a guest-host on the show a number of times over the years.

Though the pair won’t be discussing their sex life on television, we may still get an inside look at their personal lives. Consuelos joked that they should make Live a family affair and invite all three of their children to join them.

“I think we’ve joked about it,” he says. “Michael, our 25-year-old, would be hysterical. I’d love to see him with Kelly. Lola, she’s a dynamo, she would be amazing. Joaquin is a little bit more reserved, and I think he’d probably opt out.”

Live with Kelly and Ryan airs weekdays at 9/8c on ABC.
