Hours after it was reported that Raquel Leviss entered into a mental health facility, a rep for the Vanderpump Rules star confirmed to DECIDER that she held off on doing so until after the show’s reunion because she “wanted to apologize to Ariana [Madix] in person.”

Earlier today, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Leviss and her family decided before the affair with Tom Sandoval was discovered that she would “enter a voluntary facility for mental health counseling.”

While she had planned on checking herself into the facility prior to the Season 10 reunion, which filmed on March 23, a rep confirmed that she had decided to finish taping so could apologize to Madix — Sandoval’s (now former) girlfriend of nine years — for the affair in person.

The news comes just over one month since Madix discovered Leviss was engaging in a months-long affair with her longtime boyfriend after finding a sexually explicit video of the Sur waitress on his phone.

After restraining orders, business blows and endless clap back from their fellow Pump Rules costars, the drama only continued to build as it was reported that Andy Cohen had to physically separate two cast members at the reunion, which allegedly became  “explosive within two minutes, and never let up for the entire five hours of shooting.”

Both Leviss and Sandoval have issued apologies, with the former blaming the affair on her “addiction to being and feeling loved.” Meanwhile, Sandoval — who claimed that he had broken up with Madix two weeks before she learned of the scandal — revealed that the two became “obsessive” over each other after sharing their first “magnetic” kiss in August 2022 during his first major interview with Howie Mandel.

Vanderpump Rules airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
