The internet is totally living for Adam Lambert‘s performance on Monday night’s (April 17) episode of That’s My Jam, where he gave a spot-on impression of Cher while singing “The Muffin Man.”

The American Idol Season 8 runner-up (and now Freddie Mercury’s replacement as the frontman of Queen) spun the Wheel of Musical Impressions on Jimmy Fallon‘s new game show, which gave him the task of singing the famous nursery rhyme as the iconic pop star.

“Do you have a Cher in you?” Fallon asked to which Lambert dramatically flipped his hair.

It came as no surprise that the singer was able to blow the audience away when he began the song to the tune of Cher’s “Believe.” When his act ended, Fallon naturally bowed to him as he said, “How do you do that? How do you make that good? Cher will be very proud!”

Meanwhile, fans of the show took to Twitter to express their admiration for Lambert’s “unreal” performance. One wrote, “Adam sounds so damn good!!!!!!”

Another added, “Such a great performance. My husband and I were cracking up the whole time,” while a third person said, “Adam you can sing anything!!”

“Damn, Adam is so spot on singing as Cher!! Just perfect timing and amazing 🤩 he sounded just like Cher!” someone else pointed out.

“That was hilarious 😂 So much fun!!! Impression on point!!” another viewer exclaimed before someone else joked, “Adam can make anything sound great, but now I  want a muffin😂 “

This wasn’t the first time Lambert has wowed with a rendition of a Cher song. Back in 2018, he received some love from the songstress herself after singing a cover of “Believe” at the Kennedy Center Honors, where Cher — who said her “senses [were] overwhelmed” with the performance — was present in the audience.

In response to her praise, Lambert wrote back, “It was a total honor @Cher!!!! You’re a goddess!”

That’s My Jam airs on Monday nights at 10/9c on NBC. You can watch new episodes on Peacock.
