Ghosted, which began streaming on Apple TV+ today, is well aware of the fact that quite a few people watching the movie are fans of Chris Evans, and, by extension, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And what better treat for those fans than some delightful Marvel cameos? (Warning: Ghosted spoilers ahead. Stop reading this article now if you’d rather be surprised by these familiar faces!)

Ghosted features cameos from not one, not two, but three Marvel alums: Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and Ryan Reynolds. And, though he’s technically not a Marvel alum, John Cho also makes a cameo appearance good measure. Here’s how it goes down: Ghosted tells the story of a down-to-earth dude named Cole (Evans) who gets ghosted by a cute girl named Sadie (Ana de Armas), despite the fact that Cole was sure Sadie was the one. Determined not to give up on true love, Cole tracks Sadie down… only to discover she’s a CIA agent. Thanks to a case of mistaken identity, Cole is now involved in a dangerous, deadly mission.

A lot of bad men want the MacGuffin that Cole and Sadie have, which means quite a few bounty hunters are after them. The first hit-man to show up? None other than Anthony Mackie, aka Captain America’s buddy Falcon, and later, his replacement. Mackie smoothly kills a friend of Sadie’s, tells our heroes they should get a room, and then declares, “I’m the best bounty hunter alive!” Of course, that’s when he himself gets attacked and killed.

And guess who kills him? Why, it’s yet another hit-man, this time played by Star Trek star John Cho. Cho makes his shot with a snarky comment—”Second best!”—and he, too, witnesses Cole and Sadie’s banter and tells them to get a room. These bounty hunters sure are original! Who’s this guy, then? “They call me The Leopard,” Cho says. Then he, too, is attacked and killed.

Called him The Leopard,” sneers our newest attacker, which is, of course, Mr. Sebastian Stan himself, best known as Steve Rogers’ best-friend-turned-Winter-Soldier-adversary, Bucky Barnes. Stan tells our protagonist he goes by “God,” and, yes, he tells them are cute and should get a room. Like the other Ghosted cameos, Stan is on screen for less than a minute before he, too, gets killed—this time by a stumbling, not-quite-dead Anthony Mackie (Stan’s Falcon and the Winter Soldier co-star), who takes out Stan, and then dies for real. This entire cameo sequence is less than five minutes long, but it’s absolutely delightful. You’ll be grinning from ear-to-ear by the time it’s over.

But wait, there’s more! One last superhero makes a cameo appearance in Ghosted, at the very end of the movie: Ryan Reynolds, aka Deadpool. In Ghosted, Reynolds plays another ex-boyfriend of Ana de Armas’s, named Jonah. He does his usual, snarky Reynolds schtick, this time in a slick white suit and an eye patch. He jokes it would never have worked out with de Armas, because “I was losing too many body parts. That’s not sustainable. But if you look on the bright side, I still have 20 vision.” And it wouldn’t be Ryan Reynolds without a dick joke—Jonah, apparently, had his dick blown off in an horrible accident, but now he’s a  “good, solid active listener.”

In other words, Reynolds is essentially playing Deadpool. That’s a fun treat for anyone still upset that Captain American never got to meet the “Merc with a Mouth” in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, thanks to licensing rights. If you want to witness these cameos for yourself, don’t hesitate to stream Ghosted on Apple TV+. It’s a blast!
