Love Is Blind alum Amber Pike is putting the Netflix show on blast. The former contestant revealed on Instagram that she doesn’t watch the reality show.

Pike appeared on the first season of the show and matched with Matt Barnett, whom she is still married to.

On a recent picture of the two, a fan asked, “Who was your favorite couple from Season 4??” to which Pike responded, “We don’t watch LIB.”

The comment section blew up, with many of Pike’s 1.3 million followers asking follow-up questions. Another fan asked if they “argued” with the show creators given that they were absent in the season’s reunion episode.

Pike answered, “I told them to stay away from us.”

Another criticized Pike for not showing appreciation for the television show. “I don’t know what went on behind the scenes, and I know that being on a reality show can be stressful, but you signed up for it by choice,” they wrote.

The angry commentator continued, “It is too convenient for you to suddenly distance yourself from the show now. LIB, the media, and the audience behind the popularity of the show made you what you are today.”

Pike wrote back, “Except that literally none of what you said was true.”

In another post, Barnett shared a video of himself and Pike with the caption “Growing old together looks just fine to me.” In the video, pictures of the couple are digitally aged. Fans left comments saying, “the best couple of Love is Blind” and “the ones that you thought wouldn’t make it are the one that actually are killing it.”

Pike and Barnett have not further commented about their allegations, but they aren’t the only ones who had a poor experience on the reality show. A recent report from Business Insider featured several accounts from former contestants who have come forward with allegations of “emotional warfare” and poor living conditions on the show.

The former cast members claimed they were often deprived of food and sleep during their 20-hour work days and received inadequate emotional support.

Season 2 contestant Danielle Ruhl claimed that she experienced panic attacks and suicidal thoughts while filming, but was dissuaded from leaving.

Love Is Blind is currently streaming on Netflix.
