More details have emerged surrounding the incident involving Jackass star Bam Margera, which resulted in a warrant for his arrest and multiple criminal charges. According to an affidavit obtained by Entertainment Weekly, Margera threatened several of his family members, and allegedly punched his brother in the face.

In the criminal complaint, Bam’s brother, Jesse Margera, told police that the television personality had “banged on and kicked his locked bedroom door, written a threatening note, urinated in the kitchen sink, screamed at him, and struck him in the head,” per EW. Jesse also claimed that Bam had threatened to kill “everyone in the house, including their father and two other people.”

Authorities said Bam fled into a wooded area after the incident. On Monday (April 24), they announced a warrant for his arrest.

Pennsylvania State Police issued a statement to local NBC affiliate WGAL stating that Bam was “involved in a physical confrontation” on Sunday (April 23), which left the victim with “minor injuries.” As a result, he is being charged with “four counts of terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another, one count of simple assault and a final count of harassment while subjecting another to physical contact,” per TMZ.

Bam has struggled with drugs and alcohol for years. Sources told TMZ that some of his longtime friends attempted to stage an intervention earlier this month, but it didn’t go as well as planned.

While he “seemed receptive” at first, sources claimed that his current girlfriend was not exactly on board with him going to rehab because she wouldn’t have a place to stay if he left. And when his estranged wife, Nikki, was reportedly called during the intervention and said she would allow him back into her life, as well as their son’s, if he sobered up, Margera’s girlfriend allegedly became upset and threw everyone out.

The failed intervention happened shortly after he was caught on video yelling at Nikki while she dined with their son, Phoenix, at a Los Angeles restaurant. He was arrested shortly after for public intoxication.
