Bam Margera turned himself into Pennsylvania State Police after an arrest warrant was issued for the assault of his brother.

Per local news, the reality star surrendered to the multiple charges on Thursday (April 27) morning at the police department in Avondale, Pennsylvania.

The Public Information Officer for Troop J in Pennsylvania confirmed that Margera was “fingerprinted and photographed before being arraigned at District Court 15-3-04.”

The Jackass star was released on a $50,000 bail.

He is set to return to court on May 25 at the Chester County Court of Common Pleas.

In a statement obtained by NBC10, Margera’s attorney Michael van der Veen said, “My client is presumed innocent. The rumors that have been being passed around by his brother through this last week have been nothing short of defamation and that will be handled in another courthouse.”

Earlier this week, it was reported that authorities were searching for Margera after he “got into an altercation” with his brother at their home in Pennsylvania and fled into the woods before police arrived.

TMZ reported that he is facing multiple misdemeanors, including “four counts of terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another, one count of simple assault and a final count of harassment while subjecting another to physical contact.”

More alarming details later emerged that Margera threatened several of his family members and allegedly punched his brother in the face. The brother also claimed that Bam threatened to kill “everyone in the house.”

Margera has long struggled with drugs and alcohol; he was arrested last month for public intoxication after getting into an altercation at a Los Angeles Thai restaurant.
